Terms of Service
Effective June 21, 2026
1. The service
Architext is a tool for turning code, schemas, and system descriptions into architecture diagrams and documents. Your diagrams are stored locally in your browser; we do not require an account to use the core editor.
2. Payment
Exporting files is unlocked by a one-time payment processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store your payment card details. Because the unlock is delivered immediately and digitally, purchases are generally non-refundable except where required by law — contact us if something went wrong and we will make it right.
3. Your content
You retain all rights to the diagrams and documents you create. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to use any material you input.
4. AI features
AI-assisted editing sends the relevant diagram data and your instruction to a third-party model provider (OpenRouter) to generate a response. Do not submit content you are not permitted to share with a third-party processor.
5. Acceptable use
Don't abuse, overload, reverse-engineer, or attempt to disrupt the service or its APIs, and don't use it for unlawful purposes.
6. Warranty & liability
The service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
7. Changes
We may update these terms; continued use after a change constitutes acceptance. See also our Privacy Policy.
